Dell and UT offering $50,000 for social innovation idea

Dell is partnering with the University of Texas to award $50,000 to college students with ideas that can better the world. College students from anywhere in the world can enter through February 20, 2009. There will be several rounds of presentation and competition until a winner is selected on May 7, when they or their team will be presented with $50,000 to get their idea off the ground and make it a reality.
