Do good credit cards for college students really exist?

If used wisely, a student credit card is a good way to build your credit history while you are in school. If you can’t pay off the balance however, you may be destroying your credit history before it becomes established.

U.S. News and World Report has identified several good Web sites for finding a student card. IndexCreditCards.com and CardRatings.com help students find the best card suited for them. Low interest rates are important, should the need to carry a balance arise. As long as the balance is being paid each month, consider a rewards card, but find one with no annual fee.
