Learn and Earn program pays kids to study

How would you like to get paid for the time you spend studying? Some Atlanta middle school students got to try such a program to see how well it would work. Students had the opportunity to earn $8 an hour and up to $32 a week while in the program – that adds up to $480 for the school year! Earning extra spending money also helped teach students about saving and budgeting.

Students and parents say that they think the program was a success. The official results will be announced this summer.
